This course offers a comprehensive appreciation of the functions of human resource management. Students will gain sound understanding of the strategic and global context of HRM in modern organizations. - Understanding of the managerial context of HRM and evaluating the best practices used by organisation in recruiting, motivating and retaining employees.
- The critical role of Strategic Human Resource Management and its functions
- Globalization and other international forces that can impact best practices in HR
- Managing employment relations with ethical and legal practices
Students will be formally assessed at the end of the course, where an individual assignment of 1500-2000 words needs to be submitted. This is a mandatory requirement for receiving the certificate.
